I love Espanola Way and enjoy it very much!
That’s why I choose this domain for my love site. But here I will share more than just about Espanola Way!
Española Way was conceived by N.B.T Roney (of the Roney Plaza Hotel) in 1925 as “The Historic Village”.
Though it’s located in the city’s Art Deco District, the area was modeled after the Mediterranean villages of Spain and France and was originally built as a meeting place by Miami Beach’s wealthiest citizens. In addition to being home to many of Miami’s finest, in the late 1920’s it also served as the gambling destination for some of the US most notorious bad men like Al Capone who played at the Clay Hotel.
In the modern age of Hollywood movies like Miami Vice, The Specialist (Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone) and musical videos raging from Ricki Martin to Italian sensation Eros Ramazzotti have been filmed on this street. Recently an episode of Burn Notice (USA NETWORK) was filmed on Drexel Irish Pub and Segafredo Española Way.
